Sapient Expands its Presence in Bangalore
Company’s Rapid Growth Drives the Addition of Three Floors to its Existing Centre and Accelerated Hiring efforts

Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), a global services firm that helps clients transform in the areas of business, marketing, and technology, today announced the expansion of its existing centre in Bangalore. Located in Salarpuria GR Tech Park, Whitefield, Bangalore, Sapient builds on its capacity by almost doubling the space of its existing facility.

The company plans to nearly double its workforce in Bangalore by the end of 2010, as well as continue expansion in its two other Indian markets: Gurgaon and Noida. This month, Fortune Magazine ranked Sapient #45 (and #2 for profit growth) in its annual fastest growing companies list.

Spread over an area of 100,000 square feet, the new Bangalore space will accommodate a fitness centre and expanded cafeteria exclusively for Sapient employees.
