TVS ICS Unveils High-End Technology Products

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, May 19, 2005 -- (Business Wire India)

TVS ICS has on 18th May 2005, launched the much-awaited product “The Antenna” in technical collaboration with Argus Technologies, Australia. The antennas will be marketed initially by TVS under the brand name of “TVS Argus” and subsequently the company plans to get into indigenous manufacturing of the antenna with technical guidance from Argus. TVS ICS envisages greater inroads into antenna market thru the vendors like Nortel, Ericsson and Motorola who would be bidding for the new BSNL roll out.

TVS is introducing the latest in networking and cabling technology and will be unveiling plans and products for the future, with a new look logo during the third week of May 2005 with a series of Road shows at Bangalore 16th, Hyderabad 17th, Mumbai on the 18th and Delhi on the 20th May, 2005 resp.

TVS Interconnect Systems (TVS ICS) is a part of the TVS Group established in 1911 with group revenue of over $2.5 billion and employing more than 20,000 people.

TVSICS was incorporated in 1999. The company started as a manufacturer of electronic connectors, radio frequency connectors, cable assemblies, fibre optic products. RF Cables and connectors are very commonly used for connecting the Antenna to the Mobile stations and each and every network operator looks for a very good supplier who can give them quality material since these are very critical for any cellsite operation, even though the cost of the Feeder cable and connector is a miniscule 2% of the overall cellsite infrastructure cost. It is here where TVS ICS excels and is continuously providing quality materials to the operators.
