In a bid to prepare students for Indian Police Services Competitive Examination 2012, Civil Services Chronicle under the guidance of its mentors has taken the decision to launch a crash course for aspirants who want to serve the police force of India.

Mr. N N Ojha, Editor, Civil Service Chronicle after the board meeting said, "We are getting regular calls about special preparation for the examination from aspirants and thus we have decided to launch this course. The crash course will help the students prepare for the test that is to be held from 20th May."

Mr. Ojha added, "Special study material has also been prepared for those interested in taking the course through distance learning or online medium. The classes for the crash course will start from 15th of April and will cover all aspects of the syllabus that include, history, geography, Indian polity, English language training, essay writing and general studies. All students should enroll as soon as possible because admission will be on the first come first serve basis."

The classes will be taken by Mr. S. K. Mishra, ex- IAS officer, Dr. Surendra Singh, Prof. Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Mr. M K Jha. These are people of high academic and service experience. They have many years of experience in guiding the students and will further guide them to clear the exam at our institute.

About The Exam

The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Limited Competitive Examination from 20th Of May ,2012 for the purpose of filling vacancies in the Indian Police Service ( I P S ) in accordance with the rules published by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Indian Police Services Limited Competitive Examination will consist of two successive stages :- the written and the interview.
