Homoeopathy can Cure Vitiligo: Reports Homoeo Times, Journal on Clinical Evidence

Homoeo Times, a monthly Journal on Clinical evidence reports that Vitiligo and Leucoderma are curable with homoeopathy Medicines. A clinical study conducted by the AKP Homoeopathic Clinical Center states that 259Vitiligo patients had improved well among 629 patients and 42 Leucoderma patients had been benefited among 97 patients.

"Vitiligo or Leucoderma can be cured with Homoeopathic Medicines, external applications, Sun exposure and Ultra Violet rays will palliate; Homoeopathy believes only internal medication. Many patients had been benefited by Homoeopathy. Homoeopathy Medicines works both cellular and dynamic level to root the disease causative factors; It has no side effects since it is administered in non material forms!" Say Dr. R.Gnanasambandam, an eminent homoeopath, Director , AKP Homoeopathic Clinical Research Center. Participating a public awareness program organized in association with Lion's Club, Chennai, held at Music Academy Mini Hall Chennai on 6th May 2007.

He added "The pigmentation is very fast in dark complexioned victims rather than fair ones. Mucosal, Acro facial types of vitiligo respond well irrespective of their etiology. Vulgaris types consumes more time in the treatment. The vitiligo associated ailments like thyroid disorders,alopecia areata and gastro intestinal disorders also responded well with vitiligo treatment.

"The incidence of Vitiligo or Leucoderma has increased; the minerals are consumed in improper colloidal state, even though they take plenty of vegetables. Use of chemical fertilizers could modify the essential minerals like copper and assimilation by the pigments cells in the skin impaired." Many affected victims are auto immune based, I observed in many cases the cure is fast when we restrict the non vegetarian diet, even the milk and dairy products " says Dr.Mahendra Kabra , an another renowned homoeopath for vitiligo treatment.. They also insisted to avoid artificial, flavoured foods and tinned foods stating that they had seen few patients.

They screened some photographs treated with Homoeopathic Medicines and explained the diseases in detail. They showed few cases with heredity as the cause, which improved well and sustained without recurrence for many years.

G.A.Rajkumar, Special Commissioner to Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy,Government of Tamil Nadu presided over and inaugurated the awareness program. Dr.S.P.Singh, Adviser, AYUSH, Government of India was the Chief Guest to the occasion. Dr.P.V.Venkatraraman, Dr.Jayesh V. Sanqui, the Members, Central Council for Clinical Research in Homoeopathy, Government of India, Dr.Mohamed Aleem also participated this occasion.

Many Vitiligo-affected victims participated the open forum and a better interaction was on the diseases along with other skin ailments psoriasis, Eczema and thyroid disorders. Dr.P.Mukundan, an eminent physician also participated the special session.

Dr.M.Saraswathy welcomed the gathering and Dr.J.Anuradha proposed vote of thanks. Dr.Monolisa performed the master of ceremony.

AKP Homoeopathic Clinical Research Center has hosted public awareness programs and scientific seminars for the development of Homoeopathy. The third awareness program hosted with overwhelming response from the public and also publishes a monthly journal Homoeo Times, which focuses more on clinical evidence.
