Delphi Automotive Systems (NYSE: DPH) recently named Mr. Bradley J. Maggart, director of marketing and planning for Delphi Asia Pacific, as its regional communications director in the region. Based in Tokyo, he will be handling responsibilities under both titles.

Mr. Brad Maggart succeeds Mr. John T. Anderson who has been appointed director of Delphi's Washington D.C. office.

Brad began his career at Delphi Delco Electronic Systems in 1980. He has held various assignments in engineering, operations and finance until 1994 when he was promoted to European Operations Manager, located in Germany. In 1996, he was appointed as Business Planner for the GM Customer Group in Troy, Michigan. From 1997 to 1999, Brad served as a Customer Manager for the GM Global Small Car Group and then went on to become Product Line Manager for FUBA antenna systems in Rochester Hills Michigan. Brad Maggart was appointed director of marketing and planning on 1 September 2000.

Brad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana and a Master's Degree in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, Michigan.
