New Delhi, Delhi, India:  Rediff.com India Limited (Nasdaq: REDF), one of India's leading Internet portals focusing on India and the global Indian community today announced that their easy to use e-mail service, Rediffmail, can now be accessed in eleven Indian languages. Rediff.com is one of the first Indian portals to offer this service to its e-mail users, enabling a large number of non-English speaking Indians to log on to the Internet to communicate via e-mail. This latest service offering is in line with the company's strategy to continuously provide content and services in regional Indian languages, culturally relevant to its users worldwide. Earlier, Rediff.com had launched its news and messenger service - Rediff Bol, in four Indian languages. Rediffmail users will now be able to 'write' e-mails in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Assamese and Oriya - languages spoken by a majority of Indians - with their friends and families in India and worldwide. In order to send language e-mails, the user will type the message in phonetics and Rediffmail will automatically convert the message into the language selected. Language e-mails can be sent to any e-mail account irrespective of the recipient's e-mail address. "We are constantly striving to offer our users increased benefits of the Internet through innovative and user-friendly services. The multiple e-mail language option will enable Rediffmail users to personalize and enrich their e-mail messages in the language of their choice with their family, friends and colleagues in India and around the world," said Mr. Ajit Balakrishnan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Rediff.com India Limited.
